As personal injury lawyers, we see the suffering that comes to innocent people when others don’t do their job, put profits before safety, or turn a blind eye to serious risk.
Last month, we were in Salt Lake City to mediate a case involving the tragic loss of a 26-year-old young woman. She was a beautiful, beloved daughter and sister, and she will be missed. She was killed in an accident on I-80, a dangerous stretch of highway along Wyoming’s southern border.
Through mediation we were able to negotiate a settlement that spared our client the time and pain of enduring a long trial. Although gut-wrenching at times, we were honored to represent and advocate for this young woman’s father and two sisters. We hope they can now move forward in finding peace and admire them for the grace with which they’ve handled this loss.
